Professor Jamie Craig
Representing Flinders University and the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, Professor Craig is recognised for his research into the way glaucoma is detected and managed.
Along with his team, he has developed a powerful new screening tool to assess and triage glaucoma patients – literally saving patients’ sight.

Dr Mary Brushe
Dr Brushe’s PhD, undertaken at The University of Adelaide, focused on understanding the impact of screen time on early childhood development.  
Her award and grant winning research demonstrated how screen time can interfere with children’s early language experiences and development.

​Mrs Jessica Simons
Mrs Simons is recognised for her achievements while at Trinity College Gawler – including her involvement in the Virtual Reality in Schools Study.
She helped develop an interdisciplinary curriculum that immerses students in relevant, creative, and reflective activities, with a strong focus on emerging technologies and STEMM practices.

Transforming medical science education, Associate Professor Voula Gaganis teaches hundreds of undergraduate students and is recognised for her innovative and imaginative approach to course design – such as the inclusion of hands-on, clinical, and tech-enabled learning.
